Fiera Real Estate appoints Jag Singh to the position of Director, ESG

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jag Singh to the newly created position of Director, ESG at Fiera Real Estate Canada. In this role, Jag will support the tactical and strategic delivery of our ambitious ESG vision and drive our funds’ net zero carbon pathways and climate resilience strategies forward.

Over the last year, we have taken many steps in our ESG journey to position ourselves as a leader in environmental, social, and governance integration while providing investors with increased income and capital appreciation through best-in-class portfolio ESG performance. In addition to achieving GRESB Green Star status across all our live funds, we built platforms and processes to measure and monitor physical climate risk exposure across our globally managed assets. We have commenced our net zero carbon journey across several of our managed funds and trialed innovative technologies to reduce emissions and collect more data to better understand our footprint.

Jag brings more than 10 years of experience in managing environmental issues for various organizations and we are certain his technical expertise and innovative mindsight will add significant value to the firm and our ESG ambitions.
