Canadian Apartment Investment Conference : Fiera Real Estate to be represented on multiple panels

Tune in to this year’s Canadian Apartment Investment Conference where three of our team members will be representing Fiera Real Estate in sharing thought leadership regarding the multi-residential market. On September 22 and 23, Erin Shirley-Wong, Vice President, Asset Management, Paul Macchione, Vice President, Investments, and Richard Dansereau, President and Global Head of Real Estate will explore different facets of the apartment market.

On September 22, Erin Shirley-Wong will be joining five other panellists in her session titled “Lease Rates & Occupancy from Around Canada – Which Are Rising, Falling and Staying the Same”. The panel of experts will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed every major Canadian cities’ market, the impact on rental rates and vacancy in key Canadian cities over the past 12 months, and what to expect for the balance of the year.

On the second day of the conference, log in to the “Transaction Update: What Deals Are Getting Done and What’s Coming Up?” session to hear Paul Macchione and his panel provide an overview of notable transactions across Canada and future deal flow. They will address the past 12 months of transaction activity and comment on how the deal flow has been volatile with almost a standstill to surges in volume.

Richard Dansereau will also be representing Fiera Real Estate at this Canadian Real Estate Forum’s event in the “Lessons from Markets Around the World: Global Owners Share Their Learnings” session on September 23. In this session, you will have the opportunity to listen to the panellists explore what is happening in global real estate markets as the multi-residential sector has experienced varying governmental policies and is in different stages of reopening. By tuning in to this session, you will learn more market intelligence and best in class operating strategies.
