New Financing Agreement for the Névéa Laval project
The Real Estate Debt team has reached an agreement with Groupe GDI to participate in financing part of the costs associated with the construction of the Névéa Laval project.
The Névéa Laval project comprises a building with 284 residential rental units spread over 15 floors, with two underground levels totalling 317 parking spaces. In addition to being fully accessible for people with reduced mobility, the building will be designed and engineered to achieve the Fitwel certification. The building will be one of the few in the country to use no fossil fuels in its operations and will earn carbon credits for doing so. The project will offer several amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, common room, multifunction rooms and rooftop terrace.
The Névéa Laval project will benefit from a prime location in the heart of Laval, on Chomedey Boulevard, between Saint-Elzéar Boulevard and Highway 440. In addition to easy access by major highways, the project will be within walking distance of Marché 440 and a host of local shops.
