Our 2040 Pathways To Net Zero Carbon
We are delighted to announce our CORE Fund and Industrial Fund’s (the “Funds”) have established targets of Net Zero Carbon by 2040. We recognize the impact that we and our managed funds have on our planet, people and communities, and we believe that we have an opportunity and responsibility to drive real change across our sector. Our target is built on a strong, established base and reflects the progress we have made on our ESG strategy to date.
The Funds’ Net Zero journeys will be aided by ongoing collaboration between the landlord, tenants, and property managers. In addition, the asset management team will continue to identify opportunities for energy conservation through detailed energy audits, investment in building envelopes and data collection, and the evaluation of onsite renewable technologies. These conservation efforts will be supported with a commitment to identify and execute fuel-switching opportunities.
